See & Do | Earring Organizer
/
It's a new year, which means it's time to start makin' resolutions. If you're anything like I am, you resolve to be a bit more organized and clutter-free nearly every year, and like nearly everything in my life, getting organized is an excuse to get crafty. So, let's start with a charming little earring organizer, shall we?
Materials:
- Pre-Cut Wooden Tags (available at most craft stores)
- Jute Twine
- Paint / Paint Brush
- Electric Drill / Tiny Drill Bit

Putting It All Together: Begin by drilling four small holes in each of the tags. This will allow for two pairs of studs or one pair of dangly earrings per tag.

Sand down any rough spots and splinters, and paint the tags the color(s) of your choosing.

Join the ends of the twine by looping them back on themselves and tying it up with a another short cut of twine.

Now hang it and load those tags up with all your pretty baubles.

I hung mine on my bathroom wall. In addition to being practical, I have to smile every time I see some of these bright and sparkly pretties, particularly those with special meaning that I might not get worn very often -- like those dangling rhinestone stunners that I wore on my wedding day.
