See and Do | Plastered Rosemary Napkin Ring

Today, I'm showing you lovelies how to add a little somethin' extra to a few sprigs of rosemary -- a perfect adornment for your Thanksgiving feast placesettings.

Materials:

Fresh Rosemary, Plaster of Paris*, Plastic Cup, Plastic Spoon, Toothpick

*A 5lb box of Plaster of Paris will only set you back about $6 from your local craft store.

Putting It All Together:

1. Using the plastic spoon, mix together about 1 cup of water with 1.5 cups of plaster in the plastic cup.  The consistency should be about that of a pancake batter.

2.  Completely submerge each sprig of rosemary into the plaster mixture.

3.  Over the cup of plaster, use the toothpick to scrape off excess plaster and to gently separate the leaves.

4.  Allow to dry.

5.  Wrap each sprig around a cloth napkin with a little jute twine.  I combined mine with a hand stamped flag that I made from some cardstock and a set of letter stamps.
