We’re busting out a resolution and sticking to it! This year, us smart ladies (and some really cool gents) will be new-clothes-free in 2014.
Did you know that around 30 percent of the clothes in our wardrobes haven’t been worn in over a year? Or, that according to the EPA, Americans throw away an average of 10 pounds of clothes per person each year? Or, that almost 13 million tons of textile waste is generated annually in the US?
And don’t get us started on the problems with fast fashion!!

Save them all!!!
We're hosting clothing swaps at super cool vintage shops in the DC-area.
A few general rules:
- We like vintage & you should too! We encourage ya to use Etsy and shop your local thrift & vintage shops to keep to your "diet."
- We're not sayin' you can't buy anything new. We know the drill on undergarments, tights, athletic shoes and gear. Just try to shop local y'all! And if you must cheat, do so with ethically produced, handmade, quality clothing (we'll point you in the right direction with that too!).
- We'll have a resource guide coming at ya soon with easy ways to keep on plan.
